On Arrival at Delhi Airport / Delhi Railway Station, Meet & Assist further drive to Haridwar. Transfer to your Hotel. If time permits visit Mansa Devi Temple, Chandidevi Temple, Also visit Har-ki-Pauri for Ganga Aarti. The 'Aarti' worship of the Ganga after sunset and the floating 'diya' (lamp) is a moving ritual. Return to your hotel for Night halt.
Haridwar, lying at the feet of Shiva's hills, i.e., Shivalik, in the Haridwar district of Uttaranchal Pradesh, is a doorway. Suryavanshi prince Bhagirath performed penance here to salvage the souls of his ancestors who had perished due to the curse of sage Kapila. The penance was answered and the
river Ganga trickled forth forming Lord Shiva's locks and its bountiful water revived the sixty thousand sons of king Sagar. In the tradition of Bhagirath, devout Hindus stand in the sacred waters here, praying for salvation of their departed elder. It is a doorway to the sources of the Ganga and the Yamuna, 3000 to 4500 meters up into the snowy ranges of the central Himalayas.
After Breakfast, get ready and Drive straight to Guptkashi. Enroute you can see the beautiful river Ganga and Mandakini. The Mandakini River comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptkashi. On arrival Check In at the Hotel, evening visit ArdhNarishwar Temple (By own), overnight stay at the Hotel.
The name Guptkashi means "Hidden Benares. Mythology describes how when the Pandava brothers were searching for a glimpse of Shiva, Shivji first concealed himself at Guptkashi, but later fled from them further up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally got their wish fulfilled. There are more tangible connections as well-the Kedarnath pandas (hereditary pilgrimage priests) live in Guptkashi during the winter months, and after the Kedarnath temple closes for the winter, the image of Kedarnath passes through Guptkashi on its way to Ukhimath (across the valley), where it stays for the winter.
Morning after breakfast, today we will go to Kedarnath. To reach Kedarnath you will have two options. One if by trekking and other is by Air via Helicopter (at your own cost).
By Helicopter: Morning our driver will transfer you to your Helipad location (Phata, Guptkashi, Sersi etc.) as per helicopter ticket time. Kindly inform the driver, timings of the helicopter mentioned on the ticket the previous day. Different aviation has different locations for their helicopter service. Our driver will provide you pick and drop to the hotel. Advance booking is highly recommended for the helicopter. (Note: Helicopter Tickets are not included in this package)
By Trek: To reach Kedarnath by trekking route first you have to reach Gaurikund. Our car will drop off to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag 5 kms drive to Gaurikund local jeep is available, Govt. Taxi are easily available from Sonprayag to Gaurikund). These sharing basis jeeps guests can book directly at their own cost. Gaurikund to Kedarnath is further 19-20Kms trek. Mandakini, one of the main tributaries of the Ganges originates at Kedarnath and flows through Gaurikund. Trudging with you are pilgrims chanting "Jai Bholenath." Sometimes the mist would envelop the mountains and slowly lift away, revealing a shiny blinding-white peak that threatens to rupture the skies. On arrival, check in at Govt. Camps/Dharamshala, and Overnight stay at Govt. Camps/Dharamshala.
Early in the morning you get up before dawn and after taking a bath you are at the temple by 4:45 am for the 'Abhishek’ to Kedarnath Shiva. Everyone can go inside Garbha Griha and touch the idol. You can also visit Bhairav Mandir 1km From Kedarnath. It is said that our Yatra is incomplete without visiting Bhairav Mandir, so this is also a must visit place in Kedarnath. After Temple Darshan, Pooja and sightseeing of nearby places like Guru Shankaracharya Samadhi, Bheem Shila etc. Trek down
from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. Your vehicle will wait for you in Sonprayag Car Parking and you’ll drive to your hotel in Guptkashi. Check in to the hotel for Night Halt.
After breakfast, complete the check-out formalities and Drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh, enroute visiting Dhari Devi Temple and Devprayag Sangam, the 'place of sages' is a celebrated spiritual town on the bank of Ganga and is surrounded by Shivalik range of the Himalayas on three sides. It is said that when Raibhya Rishi did really hard penances, God appeared by the name of “Hrishikesh" and this area henceforth came to be known as Rishikesh. Visit Rishikesh Temples & Sight Seeing – Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Janki Setu. On arrival, check in at hotel for Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast at hotel, complete the check-out formalities and proceed towards Delhi. On reaching Delhi transfer to Railway Station / Airport. Drop at Delhi Airport/ Railway Station. On arrival in Delhi,
transfer to Railway Station/Airport for your onward journey towards home with a lot of memories from your Yatra.
