But now, this is possible for travellers with some amount of training. We leave the peak to serious expeditioners, but do cover the Everest Base Camp, which itself is a thrilling trek for amateur level trekkers.   • Day 1-2

    Kathmandu

    Arrive in Kathmandu, looking down at the sprawl of mountains from your flight. A day in Kathmandu orients you to the simple and spiritual living of the Nepalese. To get oriented, here are some things that will be in store for you.
  • Day 3

    Kathmandu – Lukla

    Our guide will come to the hotel to pick you up and transfer to the airport to catch the flight to Lukla.
  • Day 4

    Phakding – Namche Bazaar

    With a slight climb to Jorsalle, pass a waterfall. Along this part of the trail villages enjoy magnificent forests of Rhododendron, Mangoliya, and Giant Firs. Walk up to Namche Bazar.
  • Day 5

    Namche Bazaar

    An acclimatization day allows for an excursion to Thame. Intricately carved mani stones mark the path to this large valley with a picturesque gompa on the hillside overlooking the valley. Overnight at the hotel.
  • Day 6

    Namche Bazaar – Tengboche Monastery

    Thamserku, Kantega, Ama Dablam, Lhotse and Everest rise in front. Woods of rhododendrons and the river make this a lovely walk. The morning view from Tengboche is considered one of the most magnificent in the world. Tengboche Gompa, is the cultural and religious center of Khumbu.
  • Day 7-8

    Dingboche

    Stone steps lead down through rhododendrons, birches and conifers where, due to the hunting ban, almost tame pheasants are regularly seen. At the bottom lies the small village of Deboche and its nunnery. Rising above the tree line the trail enters alpine meadows of scrub juniper and, in summer, a profusion of wild flowers.
  • Day 9

    Lobuche

    Alpine meadows and summer yak pastures lead toward the end of the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier where there is a steep, tough climb. There are stone memorials for six Sherpas who died in avalanche, as well as monuments to other climbers.
  • Day 10

    Ghrakshep

    This is yet another day of tough climbing. Altitude makes the climb onto the Changri Glacier a daunting task. Overnight at the hotel.
  • Day 11

    Kalapathhar and Everest Base Camp

    This trail provides a wonderful view of Pumori. This section of the trek provides good views of the Everest Group from Gorakshep and Kalapatthar. Especially Kalapattar offers a closest view of Mt. Everest and as well as hundreds of other beautiful peaks including that of Tibet.
  • Day 12

    Pangboche

    Descend the Imja Khola overnight to reach Pangboche, the highest permanent settlement. Its gompa, the oldest in Khumbu, is built over the hermitage of Khumbu’s saint Lama Sanga Dorje. The juniper trees on either side are said to have sprung from hair cut from his head and a rock-like projection is a piece of mountainside he pulled out for protection one day. Overnight at the hotel.
  • Day 13

    Khumjung

    This is an easy way down to Tengboche which offers a beautiful glance of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Cholatse, Thamserku and Amadablam. One can also visit Tangboche Monastery, the most important Buddhist center of this region.
  • Day 14

    Phakding

    An easy way walk down to Phakding village visa Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay at lodge.
  • 15-16

    Lukla

    Trek an easy way to Lukla, the last destination of your memorable trek. Our guide will re-confirm your next day flight to Kathmandu in the afternoon. Early morning after breakfast our guide take you to the airport to board on the flight to Kathmandu.
  • 17-18

    Kathmandu

    Spend a day sightseeing in Kathmandu. The first is Swayambhunath Maha Chaitya, the most fascinating architectural jewel of the world and a UNESCO world cultural heritage site. It stands on a hilltop in the western part of the Kathmandu and has been around for 2000 years.
