The dense forested hills of North India’s plains and hills, with cool oasis of water pools within, make the ideal habitat for a number of birds. The regions of Rajaji National Park, Jim Corbett and Bharatpur in Rajasthan are especially famous with birding enthusiasts. Up in the higher reaches of Uttarakhand, the excitement of spotting the colourful Monal and a host of other birds like Ruddy Shelduck, Kingfishers, Goldfinch and Woodpeckers, runs high amongst enthusiasts. Between the warmer climes of the plains and the cool hillsides, a number of species can be found in North India.

  • Day 1-2

    Delhi

    On arrival at Delhi airport you will be met and greeted by our representative & transfer to your hotel. Delhi has been the seat of power of several empires for about a millennium. It has been destroyed and rebuilt many times, and interestingly, a number of its destroyers have also been its rulers.
  • Day 3-4

    Chambal

    This is a lovely destination for great birding. The National Chambal Sanctuary was set up in 1979 as a riverine sanctuary along an approximately 425 km length of the Chambal River and its ravines stretching over 2-6 km wide along the river, Chambal supports 8 rare turtle species out of the 26 found in the country.
  • Day 5

    Agra – Bharatpur

    Agra stands on the right bank of the river Yamuna, was once the seat of the Mughal rulers, the zenith of art and an enshrined romance. A town famous for its beautiful medieval monuments, the passion of the Mughals for building endowed it with some of the loveliest buildings in the world.
  • Day 6-7

    Bharatpur

    Enjoy birding with a guide in the wetlands of Keoladeo National Park. These diverse habitats are home to 366 bird species, 379 floral species, 50 species of fish, 13 species of snakes, 5 species of lizards, 7 amphibian species, 7 turtle species, and a variety of other invertebrates.
  • Day 8

    Uchagaon

    Fort Unchagaon is a living witness of ancient glamour and valour. It was inherited by the present Raja Surender Pal Singh at the age of ten. The young prince put substantive effort to develop and maintain this ancestral property.
  • Day 9

    Jim Corbett

    Corbett is one of the finest National Parks in India. The core area of the park covers an area of 500 sq. km. and comprises the broad valley of the Ramganga River in the foothills of the Himalayas.
  • 10-11

    Jim Corbett National Park

    Enjoy morning & afternoon game drive in the national park. During the Safari you will drive down to the river, to look for various mammals, the long snouted fish eating Gharial and Marsh Crocodiles. With the possibility of seeing 05 species of Kingfishers, Pallas & Himalayan Grey-headed Fishing Eagles, Osprey, and Crested Serpent Eagle, the Safari is truly magical.
  • 12-13

    Delhi

    After breakfast drive to Delhi, upon arrival in Delhi and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Onward journey.
