Day 1: Casablanca 40 Km
Welcomed at Mohammed V airport by Exploring Morocco Travel staff. Brief review of the tour during the transfer to the hotel. Check in, dinner and accommodation at hotel.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat 100 Km
Visit of the economic capital of Morocco: the central market, the Habous district, the Royal
palace, the Mohammed V square, the residential area of Anfa and the outside of the Hassan II mosque. Continuation to Rabat, city tour includes the Royal palace (Mechouar), the Kasbah Oudaya, the Mohammed V mausoleum and the Hassan Tower. Dinner and accommodation at hotel.
Day 3: Rabat – Meknes– Fes 216 Km
Departure to Meknes, the Ismalian capital, famous for its 40Km long walls. Visit of Bab El
Mansour, the Royal stable granaries and the Jewish quarters. Before arriving to Fes, visit of the holy city of Moulay Idriss, via the ruins of the Roman city of Volubilis. Dinner and accommodation at hotel.
Day 4: Fes
Full day Sightseeing of the city. Fes is the oldest imperial city: visit of the medieval Medina and religious Islamic centers and university namely the Medersas, the Karaouine Mosque and University (The oldest in the world) as well as the Nejjarin Fountain . PM Sightseeing of the famous souks of Fes. Dinner and overnight at hotel
Day 5: Fes-Erfoud 420 Km
Departure via the Middle-Atlas Mountains, passing by Ifrane and Azrou, an important
handicraft center. Stop at Midelt for lunch. Continuation to Erfoud. Visit of the Blue Meski. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Erfoud-Merzouga 55 Km
Morning at leisure. PM excursion to Rissani : The capital of the Tafilalet where the Alaouites
dynasty ancestors are buried. Visit of the 17th century Kasbah and the imposing ruins of
Ksar-Abbar. Take the four-wheel drive cars to the gigantic Merzouga dunes. Upon arrival,
a welcoming mint tea will be presented. Take the camels and enjoy an outstanding ride along the dunes to attend one of the most magnificent sun set in the world. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga.
Day 7: Merzouga-Tinghir-ElKelaa-Ouarzazate 370 Km
Morning departure to Tinghir via Tinejdad road with its magnificent Kasbahs. Visit of theTodra canyons. Continuation to El Kelaa through the Dades Valley. Short sightseeing of El Kelaa. Departure to Ouarzazate through the road of thousands Kasbahs. Dinner and overnight at hotel
Day 8: Ouarzazate-Marrakech 200 Km
Visit of Ouarzazate including Tiffeltout and Taourirt Kasbahs. Departure to the fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, the most spectacular fortress in the south of Morocco. Continuation to Marrakech through the Tichka pass (2260m). Dinner and overnight at hotel
Day 9: Marrakech
A whole day sightseeing tour around the city. Marrakech is the “pearl of the south” founded by the Almoravides dynasty at the end of the 12th Century. Morning discovery of the souks of Marrakech and the Djemaa El Fna square.PM visit to Saadyines Tombs, museum, Menara and Agdal gardens, the Koutoubia, and the Bahia Palace. An optional dinner in a typical Moroccan restaurant with folklore show. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Marrakech-Essaouira 200 Km
Departure to Essaouira, famously called “Mogador”. PM: Visit of the “Scala”, the sea-port and the Medina. Dinner and overnight at hotel
Day 11: Essaouira-Safi-El Jadida-Casablanca 400 Km
Depart for Safi, quick visit ; then Safi the ideal place to buy superb pottery pieces before continuing to the seaside resort of Oualidia, famous for its oyster farming. Here you have the option of free lunch. In the afternoon, you will continue to the stunning and popular beach resort of El Jadida for a short visit, before driving to Casablanca.
Day 12: Casablanca 40 Km
Transfer to Mohamed V airport for departure.
